Tim cut his teeth directing at Granada TV in Manchester England, travelling the globe producing series after series of popular factual documentaries including ‘Savage Planet’, uncovering the world’s most hazardous places and ‘Eye of the Storm’, telling the human stories of the impact of our most dangerous weather. Over twelve million people saw ‘Garages from Hell’, exposing the UK’s dodgiest garages. His documentary about David Beckham, ‘Beckham’s Body Parts’ investigated the science behind this sporting enigma and his body and was a cultural milestone in sports documentary-making. Other documentary series include ‘Incredible Stories’ where a similarly scientific approach was brought to some of the world’s greatest mysterious phenomenons like vampires, Bigfoot and Atlantis.
